Landscape Architecture by Abi Kearney is known for its meticulously crafted outdoor spaces that show off the best that nature has to offer. Abi has over 10 years of Landscape Architecture experience within the private and public sector working on all aspects of Landscape Architecture; residential, commercial, streetscapes, park and playground Landscape Designs as well as sensory and community spaces.

Abi specialises in horticultural plant knowledge with specialist interests in Australian Natives after working a 10-year stint in Australia. Abi delivers high quality rendered landscape masterplans, landscape documentation for design and approval through to tendering and construction documentation.

Abi has a passion for the environment, biodiversity, native plants, material selection, residential and climate positive design. In 2019 Abi obtained a certificate 3 in horticulture and has practical experience designing and maintaining high end residential landscapes.

Abi is a Registered Landscape Architect with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) and was Co-Chair for the AILA SUN Fresh group from 2019-2022, a community of newly graduated Landscape Architects on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia.

In late 2019 Abi was also selected to be a part of AILA’s Climate Positive Design Working Group with Martin O’Dea. Where just ten of members around the country were selected to help compile research and information to put forward to the rest of the AILA community as part of three document series for climate action within the Landscape Architecture Industry. This work with the CPDWG is ongoing and the reports have now been released on AILA’s website. Since moving back to the UK from Australia in 2022 with her family, Abi is no longer a member of the CPDWG from February 2022.

Today, Abi and her small family, including their dog, now reside in the UK. Abi owns a family-orientated business and understands the flexibility required for meetings and consultations. 

Abi dedicates herself to her clients and has a strong passion, and skill bringing experience and creativity to all of the projects that she does. Landscape Architecture by Abi Kearney offers a variety of different services ranging from concept sketches to 3D renders.
